"Because the final gift we can give them is the same gift they gave us every day of their lives: love without fear, and peace without pain." —Dr. Aubrey
Dr. Aubrey is here to provide compassionate guidance through the end-of-life journey, grounded in years of experience
In the quiet comfort of home—without fear, without rushing, without the sterility of a clinical room—I experienced what every family deserves: the space to be fully present, to love without interruption and to honor a life with the gentleness it deserves. That moment planted the seed for what would eventually become Beloved Bond.
I founded Beloved Bond to honor the extraordinary connection between people and their animals—a bond built on trust, devotion and unconditional love. Our pets walk beside us through every chapter of our lives. They comfort us without asking, remain by our side without hesitation and give us their whole hearts. When their journey comes to its end, they deserve to be surrounded by the same love and security they gave so freely.
At Beloved Bond, my role is not simply to provide a medical service. It is to help create a space where your pet feels safe and at peace, and where you are free to be fully present in your goodbye. This work is deeply personal to me and it is a privilege I carry with immense care.
In 2019 I moved from Illinois to Texas and my husband Tyler and I are grateful to call Fort Worth home. Our family includes two extremely spoiled Brussels Griffons who remind us daily of the joy, humor and depth animals bring into our lives. Outside of veterinary medicine, we enjoy skiing, hiking, biking, running, traveling, gardening and engaging in spirited debates about which of us is truly the superior gin rummy player.
After two years of dedicating my work exclusively to in-home euthanasia, I have helped over 1,200 families experience a gentler, more meaningful goodbye, and every one of these moments are sacred.
Everything I do at Beloved Bond is guided by a simple promise: I will care for every pet as if they were my own. From the gentle sedation protocols we use, to the blankets that wrap them in comfort, to the memorials I carefully selected, and even our trusted crematory partner—every decision is made with thoughtful attention to the smallest detail.
Because your best friend deserves nothing less. And so do you.

"She stepped through the entire process with care and compassion. Our beloved companion was completely at ease. It was peaceful, gentle, and filled with love."
— Barbara F.
My name is Dr. Aubrey Berridge, and Beloved Bond was born from both my professional calling and my personal love for the animals who shape our lives.
I grew up around animals of all kinds, large and small. From an early age, I was drawn to their quiet presence, their honesty and the way they connect with us without words. It was my grandmother (Sharon), whose deep and unwavering love for animals helped shape my path. She showed me through her own gentleness and compassion, that animals are not simply part of our lives—they are part of our family. Her influence planted the earliest seed of my desire to become a veterinarian.
I graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and have spent 18 of the past 20 years in general practice, caring for pets and the people who love them. Over the course of my career I have helped countless families say goodbye and it was always an experience I felt particularly drawn to. But it was not until I walked my own beloved cat to the Rainbow Bridge at home that I truly understood the profound difference a peaceful, familiar setting can make, for both our pets and for ourselves.
"It is the honor of my life to help families give their beloved companions the same peace, comfort, and unconditional love they so freely gave to us." — Dr. Aubrey
